Service was perfect, the food especially the roast beef was cooked to perfection. Lovely staff as we had the pleasure of having two waitresses who were attentive, kind, quick and efficient. Will be visiting again.

Despite the pub website saying dogs are allowed in the bar, they are not currently. The website is to be updated. Shame I drove from Oxford with my dog. Ate outside - the weather allowed!

The atmosphere was welcoming, the table was set perfectly and the hosts were attentive, polite and courteous. Above all, the food was sublime and beautifully presented.

Staff were friendly and quick to serve us. Prices were a bit expansive for drinks, seeing as this is a pub quite far from main areas.
The large beer garden is a big draw to why we wanted to come here. We'll definitely return.
Toilets were clean, but perhaps not checked often enough as both toilets in the mens were out of order at one point in the night.

The food here was the worst I have ever had. It was absolutely disgusting. The quality of the food, the cook on the food. We both left feeling quite ill and that has only just lifted, 2 days later.
However, the service of the wait staff was lovely. Both ladies who came to our table were polite and attentive. They deserve to work somewhere where the food matches their service.
For anyone finding my review incoherent I think it's quite clear, the service was good, the food was foul.

Eating at Hopwood House is a delight. The staff are all super lovely and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious- it's fresh and flavourful and very good value for money. Hopwood House is a real asset to the local area.
